Very kind and helpful staff, availability to leave suitcases in luggage room before our flight, short walking distance to the subway (ride to downtown in about 15min), nearby groceries store, fastfoods and Macy's, safe area even in the night.

This Days Inn is located on a Bad section of Queens Blvd. And it is very seedy, ((It is considered a Short Stay Hotel == Meaning love inthe afternoon. Also it has many Bad influences in and out many Drug Dealers in the hotel. Also The the Breakfast that is included is very very cheap not worth the challange. There was nothing appealing about their Free Breakfast. It's Better eating at a nearby Diner. The Hotel down the block is a real Risque Hotel. I would not recommend this Hotel to anyone not even my own Mother to stay there. !! Also they do not have Cable tv What they have is Local Analog tv. Hotel is run by very uncleansed Hindu's and no respect of what they do with there fingers in front of customers. While I was recently checking out the male Hindu Clerk was picking his nose and then biting his nails right in front of me with out cleaning his hands or excusing himself for a moment to take care of his personal needs. This is very unprofessional behavoir especially in front of clean and decent paying guests. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone no matter how inexpensive it might be days inn or other wise. Please take recommendation seriously. Thank you (rb)

free breakfast, was very basic but welcoming

the rooms are made of cardboard, you can hear every cough, every tv on in someones room, and can be very noisy after dark

    Nothing

The room was very dusty the heater/ac was noises, it was like staying in a dim basement. The doors were constantly being slammed. I found a pair of women's black slipper shoes in the back of the desk chair shoved in the netting area I was able to find them because of the smell and where there for a while covered with dust.

Hotel q was simply O.K. The location was decent, it was a few blocks to a vibrant, diverse neighboorhood filled with shopping and restaurants as well as the subway station.

There was nothing horrifying about it, but the cable was out for much of our stay. The staff were unconcerned with guest's comfort. Because we were "discount" customers, they placed us in the room next to the stairway door, and our room shook violently each time someone entered or exited through the doorway, so sleeping was difficult. Our bed did not ever have a comforter on it (blanket only), while other rooms had comforters. The bed was small (smaller than a Queen sized bed) and there was not much space in the room for even a couple suitcases. There was no closet, which made it difficult because we had lots of stuff. The hotel was simply too expensive for the level of comfort, quality and service. There were weird rules posted, like "You cannot eat outside of the breakfast area" but the breakfast area was tiny, so there was no place to sit and eat breakfast most mornings. The breakfast was odd, and the coffee tasted as if mold had been growing in the coffee urns.

Went on your site to book a room during aftermath of Sandy. This Hotel was beyond uncomfortable, on so many levels.f First night there, an alarm was going off for 45 minutes. I called the front desk and was told it was the roof alarm, and that the front desl clerk was afraid to go upstairs. She was waiting for help. I suggested she call the police nd she said the police don't like to come to this Hotel---what does that mean? I suggested within 10 minutes I would call the police. Doors slamming, odd blankets on the bed with a drape panel (yes a drape panel) across the bed for decoration, dm lighting, just to name a few things. I travel often enough, and that was the worst, most overpriced Hotel I have seen in 15n years. If there had been any options by the time I checked in, I would have left.

Location to where we needed to be.

Not enough cover on the bed. Asked them to bring up a blanket and they never did. We do not like to sleep with a stinking heater (which it did) on all night and prefer a blanket which they did not provide. Last time we will stay here.

When I reached I didn't find my booking and that's was so bad as I have to search for hotel around the area with my small daughter for 2 hours then at last I returned to the hotel so they can found a solution and my daughter was sleeping it was a disaster for me and suddenly someone cancelled his booking and they gave me his room I can't believe what happened as when I called the customer service they told me its the hotel mistake and the hotel said its booking mistake I have a very bad experience with noth

The only thing I did not like about hotel Q is the shower which has no floor base to protect and allow water to be drained. Instead the water was all over the floor.

Good value alterbative to staying in manhattan.

a bit of a walk to local transit to manhattan 10 - 15 mins. dissapointing that although bed sheets were clean they had previous stains/cigarette burns on them. Rooms were also on the small side. Breakfast also dissapointing as just mainly bread and cereal and tea/coffee/juice for drinks all self service in smal canteen like room.
